Level 2

The second map of the prototype version for the horror FPS game ( Yomichi:Classic - Grudge ) , currently in development, has been completed.


This map picks up right at the end of the previous level (Map 1). 
As the protagonist walks through a dark underground passage, they fully step into the spirit world. Alongside the enemies from the last level, new foes have emerged to further torment the player.
The new enemy character looks like a person with half a face.
She’s inspired by something I actually saw during a late-night walk—something that genuinely terrified me.
I brought that experience into the game by recreating her as a character.
Her initial design has a tentacle-like appearance, which might feel even more unsettling to some players than the image alone suggests.

For this level, I’ve added barricades and signs that weren’t in the previous map, aiming to heighten the atmosphere.
The looping structure of the space is designed to stir up anxiety and a sense of endlessness, amplifying the eerie vibe.
Since this is still a prototype, there’s room for it to evolve further in the alpha version.


This map didn’t require any scripting, which made the creation process pretty straightforward. I focused heavily on the spatial layout and 3D elements of the design. Because of that, it might feel a bit underwhelming at this stage—it leans more toward an experience to appreciate rather than a fully fleshed-out gameplay challenge.
